The product listings contain the main product features in a simple
table, enabling you to sort the products using the features you are
interested in and allowing you to make an informed decision on which
product best suits your needs.
Instead of visiting multiple sites and either, compiling your own
list, or trying to remember which models on which sites had which features
and at what prices, they are all brought together in one table and you
can filter out those models which do not have the features which are
essential for you.
The features listed are obtained, where available, directly from manufacturers
information. We indicate the presence of a feature using a simple yes/no
or for variable features (such as search speed on a dvd player) a simple
number.

This site was conceived after searching for a dvd player and encountering
hundreds of models on dozens of web sites. There was no consistency
as to what information was presented, or how it was presented, and even
the terminology for the same feature varied.
After creating a comparison list in order to aid selection, it was
obvious that this type of information would be useful to others undertaking
the same process. The number of products is slowly being expanded, the
first comparison table was for dvd
players with dvd video combination
players, dvd recorders, portable
dvd players and home cinema systems
recently added.
